I've always been a big believer in having a tribe of close friends and family to bounce ideas off of and to help with perspective, even so much at times to forgo what I feel to do because of in
put
from friends, suggesting to go in another direction. I still see the
validity in that, at times, at least to be open to the input/critique.
But coupled with that openness there needs to be your own self -
experiencing, learning and growing. That, of course, means going on your
own path. Our search for truth can certainly be helped by others but
only truly when we are pushing for it individually.
